Florence is universally known as one of the cradles of Renaissance art and architecture and with, its museums, buildings and monuments, is rightly considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
The heart of the city is undoubtedly Piazza dell Signoria, where you can see Palazzo Vecchio.
Between the Square and the River Arno is the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most renowned art museums in the world. The river Arno, cutting through the city, is crossed by several bridges. Ponte Vecchio is the most important of them, the only bridge in the city to have survived World War II. You will find countless jewel shops and the famous Vasari Corridor along it.
Non lontanto dalla Piazza troviamo anche la Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore con la famosa cupola e il campanile di Giotto. Opposite the Cathedral you can admire the famous bronze doors of the Baptistry of St. John.
