Rocca di Montemassi
Distance: 24 minutes
Rocca di Montemassi is an enchanting estate, owned by the Zonin family since 1999, located in the foothills of Montemassi, in the Tuscan Maremma, within a unique territory between the Tyrrhenian coast and the last foothills of the metal-bearing hills.
The property covers 430 hectares, 160 of which are vineyards, in the DOC Monteregio di Massa Marittima area.
The new wine cellar, built after a careful conservative restoration of the existing structures, is surrounded by vineyards, maritime pines, olive trees and a small natural lake and blends perfectly with the environment.
The “Museum of Rural Civilisation”, conceived by Cavalier Gianni Zonin and his wife Silvana, has been created on the Estate. It represents a contribution to the land of the Maremma, a testimony to the most ancient and genuine traditions of rural culture and civilisation in Tuscany.
