CORPORATE QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY POLICY

BORGO ETRUSCO S.p.A. Tourist Facility, in order to embark on the road of continuous improvement, felt the need to equip itself with a comprehensive and methodical tool to ensure that its customers and employees receive service and treatment in accordance with the expressed and implied demands, as well as to improve its conduct for Quality, Environment and Safety through an integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System referred to UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001, and UNI ISO 45001 standards as the best solution to its needs.

In addition through the analysis of the reference context, BORGO ETRUSCO S.p.A is committed to identifying relevant internal and external factors, stakeholder expectations and assessing risks and opportunities arising from their fulfillment in the context of achieving its strategic objectives.

"QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY" INTEGRATED POLICY

BORGO ETRUSCO S.p.A., in order to strengthen its presence in the market, to satisfy the Customer better and better, to pursue its development goals, and to guarantee its employees better and safer working conditions, intends to maintain and improve its quality level, to improve its relationship with the Environment, and to improve, both procedurally and in terms of equipment, its approach to worker safety.

To this end, it intends to pursue the following strategic lines, which form the basis of its Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Policy:

  • Customer satisfaction through the delivery of services in line with expectations;
  • Compliance with applicable Standards;
  • prevention of problems;
  • The analysis of satisfaction with the services provided in order to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement;
  • Management and control of environmental and safety aspects;
  • technical-economic possibilities;
  • Continuous improvement of all business activities and occupational health and safety conditions,
  • involving employees in the process and evaluating changes proposed by them to update processes, procedures and facilities;
  • training of all workers so that they are informed and sensitized to perform their duties safely and assume their responsibilities for occupational safety and health;
  • Reduce the risk of occupational injuries and illnesses, particularly in the operations of goods handling, equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Environmental programming and security programming.

Management confirms its commitment to provide the resources, organization, training and support to achieve the above objectives. All Collaborators will be called upon to cooperate to the fullest for the proper functioning of the Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System, for continuous improvement and for the prevention of problems.
The areas on which the company focuses its attention for reducing impacts from significant environmental aspects and preventing accidents are currently as follows:

  • management of environmental aspects
    - management of aspects internal to the company
    - management of aspects external to the company with the possibility of intervention
  • Staff training and consultation on safety issues

Additional efforts aimed at minimizing the impact resulting from the activities performed are to assess in advance, to the extent possible, the environmental and safety effects resulting from all new activities and process changes in general.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES

The strategic objectives outlined in the previous point are embodied in the following operational objectives:

To Customer Satisfaction:

  • Adherence to agreements and on-time delivery of services
  • Improved customer satisfaction index
  • greater flexibility period of the client's stay

  • Improve facility security with innovative control systems and employment of trained personnel
  • Continuous monitoring of any complaints or reports from customers about inconveniences in using business partner agreements (e.g., Restaurants)

For compliance with current regulations:

  • compliance with current environmental, safety, and human resource management regulations, as well as any commitments made by the company.
  • Comply with the business improvement plan with a view to managing environmental and safety aspects

For problem prevention and process improvement:

  • Improving the degree of dissemination and application of the Quality-Environment-Safety System.
  • Reduction of Nonconformities + zero complaints, giving evidence of the management of complaints aimed at improving customer satisfaction
  • Identify business activities with significant environmental impacts in advance
  • Assess and keep under control the hazards associated with the activities performed
  • Reducing the cost of "non-quality"
  • Optimization of the effectiveness indices of operational processes
  • Prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
  • Increase customer confidence to improve the process of direct sales, which are more profitable economically than sales made through third parties (e.g., tour operators)
  • Control of internal and outsourced processes that may result in problems directly to customers (e.g. apartment cleaning, laundry service, etc...)
  • Constantly monitor the ratings received not only by means of internal rating tests but of all review systems by means of tourism portals, resulting in the management of any nonconformities or complaints

For management and control environmental and safety aspects:

  • periodically and systematically check their activities, also using accident indices, to understand which ones may have the most critical issues related to worker safety and to highlight any gaps present in the risk assessment report.
  • Ongoing verification of all environmental aspects aimed at continuous improvement of resources and tools available to the facility but also tools made available by apartment owners
  • Due to the presence of animals, the facility has an agreement with a veterinary practice.

For techno-economic possibilities:

  • Achieve continuous improvement of its performance with the use of the best available technologies, provided they are appropriate and economically applicable

For environmental and security programming:

  • Define environmental and safety improvement objectives for the management of significant aspects and activities.
  • Periodic verification of the achievement of objectives
