How Borgo Etrusco was born
A Journey through Archaeology, Nature and Timeless History
The construction of Borgo Etrusco, which began in 2005, has given new life to an ancient olive grove, transforming it into a place of extraordinary historical, cultural and archaeological value. During the work, an Etruscan tumulus tomb and the remains of an ancient Roman road were discovered, discoveries that profoundly influenced the design of the village.
These valuable finds have been respectfully integrated into the design, giving the place a unique charm and a strong connection to the past.
The centuries-old olive trees, instead of being cut down, were carefully uprooted and relocated so as to keep intact the relationship with the natural landscape and historical legacy of the site.
